Lily St. Cyr was a very popular striptease artist of the 1940's and 50's. She began dancing professionally as a chorus line dancer in Hollywood, and went on from there to become an exotic Burlesque star. She began her movie career in 1955 with her appearance in the Howard Hughes production, the Son of Sinbad. After that, she went on to perform in some pretty cheesy exploitation films. Her personal life was also filled with drama and she was a popular personality with the 50's tabloids.
